Creating a Life of Purpose

Breaking Free from the Fast-Forward Culture

Yesterday, I had a conversation with a friend who recently migrated from India. We spoke about the opportunities Canada offers and the beauty of the country. I shared my deep gratitude for what Canada has given me but also introduced him to an unspoken reality—one that often goes unnoticed.

There’s a culture here, a somewhat deceptive one, where no matter how much money you have or how successful you appear to be, you can find yourself caught in an endless cycle—working relentlessly to either achieve more or simply maintain what you already have. I made a decision long ago not to submit to that way of life.

To me, living for the next vacation from a stressful existence isn’t truly living. I encourage you, as I encourage myself, to be intentional about designing the life you truly want. If that means relocating, changing paths, or redefining success—do it.

Be so determined to create a life of purpose that nothing can stand in your way. Wake up each day with intention and let it guide you. There are no days off when you’re living with purpose.

Start fresh today. Set clear goals—and smash them!
